Collapse ▲8/11/2019 – Although the production of hemp is legal under both NC and federal law, hemp businesses still find it challenging to find service providers such as attorneys, banks and insurance companies. To help bridge this gap, we have added a new page to our website called “Business Resources.” You can access the website, and then find the “Business Resources” tab on the left-hand side of the page.
If you are a hemp grower or business you can find attorneys, banks, insurance companies and payment processors. Please check back periodically, as we continue to add additional businesses. Please also note that these listings are provided for your information only and that NC State Extension, the NC Industrial Hemp Commission, and the N.C. Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services are not endorsing or recommending the businesses listed.
If you are an attorney, bank, insurance company or payment processor that works with hemp businesses you may submit your listing to be posted. Please note that your business needs to provide services or products to the hemp industry in North Carolina.
